The contractual agreement begins once the hotel has accepted the guest’s request. This acceptance is only binding when received in writing from the hotel. Spoken or telephone agreements are not accepted. Contractual partners are the hotel and the guest, or the person who has made the reservation. These people are responsible for the guest contract. The hotel is obliged to provide the services booked by the event organiser and offered by the hotel. Prices agreed when the contract is made are binding and include VAT. Please note that any services covered by the agreement that are not made use of cannot be reimbursed. Also, a conference package cannot be split into separate payments.

Check in / Check out

Hotel rooms are available from 14:30 on your day of arrival. You can check in until 22:30; if your arrival is going to be later than this, please let us know. On your day of departure, please return the key card for your room before 10:30 to hotel reception. Later checkout is only possible if agreed with hotel reception. You are welcome to leave your luggage in a locked room until your departure.

Restaurant purchases

Restaurant receipts must be checked & signed for by an authorised person after each restaurant visit. Claims made the next day will not be considered.

Payment

For conferences and events we will send you the total bill by post. Please pay the full amount within 10 days of receiving the bill. Please note that any fees incurred by transfers from overseas must not be covered by the recipient.

Our bank account

Please give your bill number as the reference. Thank you.

Change in number of participants

If the number of participants changes by more than 2, you must inform us at the latest 3 days before the start of your event, and this needs our agreement. A reduction in the number of participants by up to 2 people will be taken into account by us when producing the bill. For any further alterations, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the total booking price.

Cancellation of rooms

  • Up to 30 days prior to arrival: no charge
  • Up to 14 days prior to arrival: 60% of the agreed price
  • From 7 days prior to arrival: 80% of the agreed price
  • No show: 100% of the average list price (excluding breakfast)

Cancellations must be in written form. We endeavour to sell any rooms not used to other guests if at all possible in order to avoid cancellation charges or at least keep them as low as possible.

Cancellations of day seminars

If a customer wishes to rescind a contract with the hotel free of charge, this needs written agreement from the Dolomiten Residenz ****s Sporthotel Sillian. If this is not received, some of the agreed services are payable, even if the customer has not used the services. If the customer does not cancel until between the 8th and 4th week prior to the date of the event, the hotel reserves the right to charge 35% of the catering cost, and 70% if cancelled later. Calculation of the catering cost is made using the formula: arrangement price of the event plus drinks x number of participants. Drinks are charged at a third of the price of the arrangement.
